Family and Education
Born in 1951 in New York ( New York , USA ) in a Greek family.
On August 15, 1940, James’s father, Nikos Jannopoulos, was aboard the armored cruiser Greek Navy , which, taking part in the celebration of the Assumption of the Virgin on the island of Tinos in the Aegean Sea , was torpedoed by an Italian submarine ".
