Content
Biography
He graduated from Grodno State University named after Yanka Kupala, Department of Polonistics (1994), studied in graduate school under him. On the Grodno regional radio, he prepared the literary and art radio magazine "Context" (1991-1994). He worked as a journalist in the newspapers Pogonya (1992, 1995-2001) and Den (2004), worked as the head of the literary part of the Grodno Puppet Theater (1994-2000). Since 2002 - publicist of the Bialystok monthly “Czasopis”. He worked for the Belarusian Service of Polish Radio for Foreign Countries and for the Polish Belarusian-language Radio "Radio" . He lived in Grodno . He died under unclear circumstances; dropped from the 9th floor of the Grodno hostel on the street. Sukhambaev, located next to his house. [2]
Creativity
Author of poetry books: “The Aroma of the Body” ( Polotsk , 1992 ), “The Face of Tutankhamun” (Polotsk, 1994 ), “The Ritual” (Polotsk, 1999 ), “Street of Tiger Orchids. Poems 1987-2002 ”( Bialystok , 2003 ).
Author of the unfinished novel “The Apostles of Nirvana” (Prince First 1995 (published in “Kalosos”, No. 2 - 3, 1995 ); plays for children “Ball by Baron Munchausen” (1993), “The Secret of the Golden Ring” (1998), “ Christmas Journey ”(1999), staged at the Grodno Puppet Theater, the documentary saga“ Previd daўnіkh Kresa 2004 ”(2004-2005), a number of critical articles on literature, fine arts and theater. Co-editor of the literary and almanac“ The Ears ”.
Belarusian rock bands “Grunwald”, “Aisha” (Jungle X-mas), as well as individual performers created about two dozen songs on the texts of Yuri Gumenyuk.
