History

2000-2007

Since the summer of 2000, another regular participant has joined BalFor - drummer Evgeni Moskalenko, who had left the Tver band Bloodrain by that time. In this line-up, “BalFor” performed at three concerts, after which in 2001 Andrei Petrov left the band, continuing his activities as a drummer of the Snickers-killer group. The duties of the vocalist from that moment began to be performed by Konstantin Konygin, and Andrei Shtolz became the temporary bass player.

In October 2001, the second guitarist Dmitry Kiselev joined the band. In early May 2002, Alexey Grishin was invited as a bass player to BalFor. At this point, the band changed their style to progressive death metal / black metal .

In 2005, the label “ Mystery of Sound ” released the debut album “BalFor”, called “The Sign” . At the same time, the composition “The Sign” was released as part of the collection “Legacy Of Metal vol.1” .

Later, in 2007, the team took part in the “ Take Alive ” program on O2TV channel.

In 2014, “Balfor”, at the invitation of the music community “MetalRus”, recorded a cover version of the song of the group “Maste” , “Only you” for the tribute “Talk of the MASTER Generation” , which was released on the label “ CD-Maximum ”.
