Geography
Peretychikha is located in the northern part of Sikhote-Alin , near the border with the Khabarovsk Territory .
The village stands on the left bank of the Edinka River in a taiga meadow . The height above the sea level of the village is 26 meters . [2]

At the beginning of the 20th century, Peretychikha was an Old Believer village with a population of about 130 people. In the 1980s the population was about 150-160 people, but then it began to decrease.
Traffic
Peretychikha is the closest settlement to Agzu , the most isolated Udege village in the Primorsky Territory , which is about 80 kilometers away . In Soviet times, it was planned to build a highway between Agzu and Peretychikha, but after the collapse of the USSR, these plans were postponed for an indefinite period. [five]
There is a car connection ( on a low-quality road ) with the urban-type village of Svetlaya (about 90 kilometers).
Infrastructure
In Peretychikha there is a board of Samarginsky forestry.
The village has a municipal preschool educational institution, a kindergarten and a secondary school .
