History
The village of Shubnoye arose at the end of the 17th-beginning of the 18th century, and is mentioned for the first time in documents in 1700. The founders of this settlement were service people who moved here from the Olshansky fortress and the villages of Veretye , Ukolovo, and Russian Trostyanka. The first immigrants were sheep breeders and craftsmen for the manufacture of colored, painted sheepskin coats, sheepskin coats and short fur coats. Therefore, the newly emerged settlement was called the settlement of Shubnikov. Perhaps the topographical origin of the name of the village, the village is located at the beginning of the Shubin Log.
According to the census of 1710, in the village of Shubnaya there were 16 residential yards and 2 empty.
By 1880, the village had 85 yards and 950 souls of residents, including 448 men and 502 women. In 1890, the first school opened in the village. In 1913, the population of the village of Shubny amounted to 1273 people, including 663 men and 610 women.
In Shubnoy is the church of Tikhon Zadonsky, built in 1911 [3] .
