“Ballad about a Small Heart” is a Russian musical to the music of Alexei Mironov, lyrics and librettos by Vladislav Malenko and Denis Rudenko. Delivered by the Ivanhoe Theater Company. The premiere took place on December 19, 2015 at the Ivanhoe Theater in Izmailovo in Moscow , Russia .

Content
History
Work on the creation of the musical from a team of two hundred people took more than two years. The plot based on real events was originally created for the screenplay [1] . The director of the production was Nina Chusova , costume designer - Anastasia Glebova, lighting designer - Taras Mikhalevsky, set designer - Vladimir Martirosov. Choreography was put by Aleksey Frolenkov. The musical director of the musical is Svetlana Kuzmina.
The premiere took place on December 19, 2015 at the Ivanhoe Theater in Izmailovo [2] .

Reaction
The musical "Ballad of a Small Heart" was well received by the public. Spectator rating on the website of the magazine “ Afisha ” is 4.6 stars out of 5 (according to data for March 2017) [4] . Of the 16 reviews, only 1 are negative, the remaining 15 are positive.
Writer Sergey Lukyanenko in his LiveJournal blog called “The Ballad of a Small Heart” “a very bright, very kind, very positive musical, worthy to come to him with the whole family” [5] . Valeria Kokoreva from the Moscow Komsomol member called the musical "a story that you need to see" [6] .
