With the construction of the railway linking the cities of Gudermes and the Cool Farm, it began to gradually develop. However, it is not known when the farm was renamed the village of Chernoyarsk.
In 1935, when the North Caucasus Territory was disbanded, a village within the Mozdok district was included in the Stavropol Territory .
In 1944, together with the city of Mozdok and its environs on the left bank of the Terek River, the village was transferred to the North Ossetian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic .
