Content
History
The village has been known since 1684, in 2014 it celebrated its 330th anniversary. Since 1767 it is already referred to as a village. [2] . In January 1918, a council was created in the village, then during the Civil War it was occupied by whites.
General information
Located on the banks of the Volga near the border with the Samara region. In the village there are streets: Polevaya, Molodezhnaya, Sovetskaya. Through the channel (or the river bay where the stream flows into) from the village is another village - Mordovian Bektyashka . Distance to Ulyanovsk - 69 km, to Moscow - 770 km. Moscow time. Zip / Postal Code : 433389. There is the Church of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, built in 1880 [3] , an obelisk to those who died during the Second World War, as well as during the Finnish (Winter) War and Khalkhin Gol. The village is famous for its fishing.
