Music
The first part is strong-willed, courageous, with marching rhythmic figures - at the end of the part it pours into a march [1] .
The second part - lyrically contemplative images dominate. The main theme, similar in character to the Russian lyric song, is slowly sung by a horn against the background of dimensional accompaniment of strings. The beginning and the end of this poetic narration about the beauty of nature are serene, calm. In the middle episode, the music is somewhat excited [2] .
The third part , as in his previous two instrumental concerts, Glier devotes to the picture of a national holiday. In the introduction, muffled sounds are reminiscent of the treading of people starting to dance, “inviting” cries of clarinets and bassoons are heard. The melody entrusted to the solo horn also has a dance character. Gradually, the rhythm of the dance speeds up, emotional stress builds up. And festive, cheerful music spreads in a wide wave. A bright, cheerful code concludes the concert [2] .
