Baron Dickinson of Pineswick in Gloucestershire - an ancestral title in the United Kingdom Peer system . It was created on January 18, 1930 for the liberal politician Willoughby Dickinson (1859-1943). He was chairman of the Council of the London County (1900-1901) and served in the House of Commons of Great Britain from North St. Pancras (1906-1918). He was the son of Sebastian Dickinson (1815–1878), a member of the House of Commons from Stroud (1868–1874).
As of 2010, the title holder was the grandson of the first baron, Richard Clavering Hayet Dickinson, 2nd baron Dickinson (born 1926), who succeeded his grandfather in 1943 . He was the eldest son of the Honorable Richard Sebastian Willoughby Dickinson, the only son of the 1st Baron.
Francis Davidson, Viscountess Davidson (1894-1985), second daughter of the first Baron Dickinson, conservative politician, member of the House of Commons from Hemel-Hempstead (1937-1959). In 1964, she received the title of lifetime peer as Baroness Northchurch .
2nd Baron Dickinson lives in Pineswick and is director of the Painswick Garden Estate and trustee of the Painswick Rococo Garden Trust.
