Aurora Street is a street in the city of Lomonosov in the Petrodvorets district of St. Petersburg , in the historic district of Kronstadt Colony . It runs from Central Street to Zavarina Street .

The original name - Polevaya Street - appeared in the early 1950s. Then it passed from the Central street to the street of Machine operators . The name may be due to the fact that the street runs along the northern border of the field.
On December 1, 1967, Polevoy was renamed Aurora Street in honor of the cruiser Aurora in connection with the 50th anniversary of the revolution .
The section between Zavarin and Mekhanizatorov Streets actually disappeared, having entered the building, and on December 31, 2008 it was officially abolished [1] .
