History
The name has been known since 1954. Given in honor of the artist I.I. Levitan , who lived in Mordvinov at the dacha in the 1890s and captured Oranienbaum and its environs in his paintings.
On May 8, 2009, a section facing Levitan Street was included in Levitan Street, near building 2 on Levitan [1] . Prior to this, the street began near house 2.
The initial section of the street (from Morskaya almost to Zapadnaya ) passes through the territory of the Park cultural heritage site of the federal significance, which is part of the Mordvinovs Estate [2] . The park is an object of public green spaces under the name "Mordvinov Manor Park" [3] .
