Baron Davis

Baron Davis from Llandinam in Montgomeryshire is a hereditary title in the United Kingdom Peer system. It was created on June 21, 1932 for the Welsh businessman , liberal politician and philanthropist David Davis (1880-1944). David Davis sat in the House of Commons of Great Britain from Montgomeryshire (1906-1929). He was the grandson and namesake of the famous industrialist David Davis (1818–1890).

As of 2012, the title holder was the grandson of the first baron, David Davis, 3rd baron Davis (born 1940), who inherited the title in 1944 when his father died during World War II .
