The series was produced according to the formula " Dallas " and " Dynasty ", where rich and beautiful characters played with power and money. Produced the TV series Lorimar Television , which released Dallas, Silent Wharf and Falcon Crest . In addition to the main family, the TV series, like Silent Wharf, tried to demonstrate the working class, first of all, department store employees, which became a problem for the series [1] . The series was closed after one season, unable to withstand the competition. The New York Times at the time of its closure suggested that the cause of the failure was a glut of prime-time broadcast soap operas. Earlier in the same season, “ Paper Dolls ” failed [2] .
