The Gzhel rural district is an abolished administrative-territorial unit that existed on the territory of the Ramensky District of the Moscow Region in 1994β2006.

Gzhel village council was formed in the early years of Soviet power. According to the data of 1919, he was part of the Gzhel volost, Bronnitsky district, Moscow province .
In 1923, Obukhovsky s / s was joined to the Gzhel s / s, but already in 1925 it was allocated back [2] .
In 1926, the Gzhel s / s village included the village of Gzhel , an agricultural center and 2 railway sheds [3] .
In 1929, Gzhelsky s / s was assigned to the Ramensky District of the Moscow District of the Moscow Region.
On June 20, 1936, the Troshkovsky Village Council (the village of Troshkovo ) was joined to the Gzhel c / s.
On April 10, 1953, the village of Troshkovo was transferred from Gzhelsky s / s to Rechitsky .
On June 14, 1954, Grigorovsky was added to the Gzhel s / s .
On June 3, 1959, the Ramensky district was abolished and the Gzhel s / s entered the Lyubertsy district .
On August 18, 1960, the Gzhel s / s was transferred to the restored Ramensky district.
On February 1, 1963, the Ramensky district was again abolished and the Gzhel s / s entered the Lyubertsy rural district . January 11, 1965 Gzhel s / s was returned to the restored Ramensky district.
On December 30, 1977, the village of Troshkovo was returned from Rechitsky with / to Gzhelsky.
February 3, 1994 Gzhel s / s was transformed into the Gzhel rural district .
On December 27, 2002, the Rechitsa rural district was annexed to the Gzhel c. At the same time the center of the Gzhel c / o was transferred to the village of Rechitsa [4] .
During the 2004-2005 municipal reform, the Gzhel rural district ceased to exist as a municipal unit. Moreover, all of its settlements were transferred to the rural settlement of Gzhelskoe [5] .
November 29, 2006 Gzhel rural district was excluded from the accounting data of administrative-territorial and territorial units of the Moscow region [6] .
