Elegy is a French magazine dedicated to alternative music and culture, published from 1998 to 2013. Although the main focus of the magazine was Gothic culture, in addition to it, the magazine reviewed industrial music, heavy metal and other topics related to the dark scene .

The magazine published interviews with musicians and reviews of music releases. The numbers were accompanied by a collection of musical compositions on CD. A distinctive feature of the magazine was a review of fine art and the publication of artistic photographs [2] [1] .
Since 2006, a bilingual version in Spanish and Portuguese began to appear [2] .
The magazine ceased to exist in 2013. The April, May and June issue (76) was the last.
