Zeliy Lvovich Smekhov (born January 14, 1939 [1] , Moscow , USSR ) - Soviet and Israeli artist . The son of the artist Smekhova Leo Moiseevich . Cousin of the actor Veniamin Smekhov .

Biography
He graduated from the Moscow Art Institute. V.I. Surikova , specialty graphic artist (1964).
In 1966-1968 he worked in the creative workshop of graphics at the Academy of Arts of the USSR on hand. Acad. E.A. Kibrika .
In 1971 he was admitted to the Union of Artists of the USSR.
Since 1991, lives in Israel. For many years he worked with the Temple Institute in Jerusalem, created a series of paintings on the history of the First and Second Temples . He is engaged in painting, easel graphics, works in the technique of etching, linocut, lithography, illustrates books. Smekhov's works are in Russian museums.
