Biography
Born in 1913 in the city of Smorgon, Vilna province . In 1929 he studied for one semester at the Kiev Art College. In 1931-1932 he lived in Minsk , worked as a cutter in a shoe factory [1] , studied painting with A. M. Brazer . In 1932-1934 he studied in preparatory classes at the Institute of Civil Aviation Engineering with S. L. Abugov and A. D. Zaitsev . In 1940 he graduated from the painting department of INZSA. Thesis - painting "Tripoli tragedy" [2] , rating - "excellent" [3] , supervisor - B.V. Johanson [2] .
Since 1934 he participated in art exhibitions [2] . In 1938-1939 he taught at the LSSH. Since 1940 - an assistant at INZSA [4] .
After the start of World War II, he volunteered for the front [5] . He died in 1941 near Peterhof [4] .
