Biography
He graduated from the Federal Law School in the city of Vyksa (1926-1929), the Faculty of Labor (1931-1933) and two courses (1933-1936) at MVTU im. Bauman, Leningrad Military Mechanical Institute (1936-1939).
In 1929-1931 he worked as a locksmith. In 1939-1941, the design engineer of the Izhora plant.
In 1941-1946 he served in the Red Army: student of the Leningrad Military-Political School, commander of a separate company of the 281st Infantry Regiment, detective officer of the Smersh counterintelligence department of the 29th Guards Regiment of the 2nd Shock Army . He was awarded the medal "For the Defense of Leningrad . "
After the war, he worked for some time as the head of the workshop of an experimental plant for mechanization of the energy economy in Leningrad.
In 1946-1955, design engineer, Art. engineer, deputy Head and Head of the Department at a nuclear facility KB-11 (Arzamas-16) (now RFNC-VNIIEF ). He was engaged in the development of nuclear shells.
