The original name is Balti Lane . It appeared in the late 1900s. It comes from the name of the Baltic railway line, to which the lane goes. It is also named Baltic Street .
In January 1968, the lane was renamed Repin Street - in honor of the artist Ilya Repin , who lived in Martyshkin in 1883 [1] .
