Biography
Born in 1884 in a peasant family in the village of Brutus. In 1892, at the age of eight, he entered the Stavropol men's gymnasium. Due to the difficult financial situation of the family, he was forced to leave his education in order to help his family. In 1924, due to an accident, he lost his sight. After moving to the village of Koban , he worked as a commandant of a children's camp.
Since 1926 he began to engage in literary activities. Ossetian folklore and folk legends knew well, which became the central element of his work. He wrote poems praising Soviet power.
He died on September 15, 1968 in Ordzhonikidze.
