Spivakov, Boris Yakovlevich

Born May 19, 1941 .

In 1963 - graduated from the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys .

In 1968 he graduated from the graduate school of the Institute of Geochemistry and Analytical Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences named after V.I. Vernadsky , where he later works. Since 1990 - Head of the Laboratory of Concentration Methods.

In 1969, he defended his Ph.D. thesis, the theme "Exchange extraction reactions of intra-complex compounds" (leaders I. P. Alimarin and Yu. A. Zolotov ).

In 1983, he defended his doctoral dissertation, the theme "Extraction of anionic type compounds from the standpoint of complexation and new possibilities for its use in analytical chemistry."

Since 2003 - Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The author of the theory of exchange extraction of chelates , and also made a significant contribution to the theory of extraction of halide and other metal complexes and synergistic extraction.

Member of the Division of Analytical Chemistry, European Association of Chemical and Molecular Sciences. Deputy Chairman of NSAH.

Member of the editorial boards of the Journal of Analytical Chemistry and the journal Successes in Chemistry.

Member of the scientific and dissertation councils of the GEOCHI RAS named after V. I. Vernadsky , Department of Chemistry, Moscow State University .

Member of the Bureau of the Scientific Council for Analytical Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences , member of the Division of Analytical Chemistry of the European Association of Chemical and Molecular Sciences.

Head of the organizing committee of the International Congress on Analytical Sciences (2006).

Chief Researcher at the Laboratory "Separation and Concentration in Chemical Diagnostics of Functional Materials and Environmental Objects" MISiS (since 2014) ^[1] . The author of more than 250 works.

Hirsch Index - 19; the number of citations since 1975 is 1309 ^[2] .
