Belphos ( fr. Bellefosse ) is a commune in northeastern France in the Grand Est region [1] (formerly Alsace-Champagne-Ardennes-Lorraine ), Lower Rhine department , Molsém district , Canton of Muigig [2] . Until March 2015, the commune was administratively part of the abolished canton of Shirmek (Molssem district).

Economy
In 2010, out of 79 people of working age (from 15 to 64 years old), 59 were economically active , 20 were inactive (activity rate was 74.7%, in 1999 it was 66.7%). Of the 59 active able-bodied residents, 53 people (31 men and 22 women) worked, 6 were considered unemployed (6 women). Among 20 able-bodied inactive citizens, 8 were pupils or students , 8 were pensioners , and another 4 were inactive for other reasons [9] [10] .
