Career
Junior period
Lukas was born in June 1990 in the main city of Slovakia, Bratislava, which was then still part of Czechoslovakia. From childhood, he was engaged in figure skating and paired up with Vishneva for dancing on ice. With her, he twice won the junior championship of Slovakia in ( 2007 and 2008 ), made his debut at the junior stages of the Grand Prix and the world junior championship .
In 2009, the skaters became champions of Slovakia and made their debut in adult tournaments; next season, the skaters won the right to compete in the continental championship . However, the pair did not manage to earn the technical minimum for participation in the world championship . The couple’s best achievement was fifth in South Korea at the Junior World Championships and then Zolli decided to look for a new partner. In the summer of 2011, the Italian skater Testa was looking for a new partner in Finland [2] . However, the Italian in Scandinavia failed and she accepted the offer of the Slovak skater.
Adult Period
They debuted only in February at the Bavarian Cup (Testa had quarantine) and immediately received a technical minimum for the world championship. The world championship had their official international debut. However, the skaters failed to break into the Olympic Games in Sochi; they turned out to be the first substitutes .
However, after the Olympic season, the couple greatly added to the technique and skill. They get a quota for Slovakia of two pairs. True, there is no second decent pair in Slovakia, and athletes still play alone. At the world championships they reached the final (free program). They made their debut at the Grand Prix . And if in the first year they performed not so successfully [3] , then for the next season they got score points [4] . What was the first time for Slovak dancers. They performed successfully at the Winter Universiade in Spain , where for the first time skaters in Slovakia won medals [5] . At the home European championship in Bratislava, the skaters performed very well (improved their previous achievements in total and free program) and entered, like a year ago, among the eight best couples of the continent. Two months later, at the world championship, Slovak skaters confirmed their last year's achievements [6] .
In the summer of 2016, her partner Testa completed performances in the big sports. Lukas decided to pursue a career for Slovakia with the Czech figure skater Myslyvechekova [7] .
Skaters decided to start their joint career at the Nepel Memorial at home in Bratislava . The pair finished in eighth place, while the skaters reached the technical minimum for performing at the European Championship [8] . Three weeks later, they also finished eighth in the Nice Cup . In early November, a Slovak couple won the Volvo Cup in Riga . In mid-November, at the Warsaw Cup, the skaters took a difficult fight and managed to take third place [9] . In mid-December, in Slovakia, the championship of four nations was held in Katowice , where Lukas became the eight-time Slovak champion [10] . At the end of January, the Slovaks performed in Ostrava at the European Championship , where they quite confidently entered the final part of the championship in the homeland of today's partner, however they finished only in the top ten. However, they managed to earn a technical minimum for speaking at the world championship . However, they were forced to miss it due to a shoulder injury at a partner [11] .
In September, a Slovak couple started the Olympic season in Bergamo, where they took a place in the top ten on the Lombardy Cup . At the end of the month, the skaters took part in Obersdorf , where at the Nebelhorn qualification tournament , they finished in the top six and managed to win a ticket to the Winter Olympics for their country [12] . Then the partner continued her treatment and the couple appeared; only in mid-December, where the dancers became national champions. A month later, the couple performed at the European Championship in Moscow , where they finished in the middle of the second ten. In mid-February, in Gangneung, at a personal tournament of the Olympic Games, Slovak dancers performed successfully, they managed to get into the final part in a bitter struggle. At the same time, the partner improved her previous achievement in a short dance. At the world championship in late March in Milan, Slovak dancers made their debut. This was their last performance and they did not make it to the final part. The couple decided to complete their performances in big sport.
