Berendorf ( French Baerendorf ) is a commune in the northeast of France in the Grand Est region [1] (former Alsace - Champagne - Ardenne - Lorraine ), department of the Lower Rhine , Saverne district , canton of Ingwiller [2] . Until March 2015, the commune was administratively part of the abolished canton of Drühlingen (Saverne County).

Economics
In 2010, out of 189 people of working age (from 15 to 64 years), 139 were economically active , 50 were inactive (activity indicator 73.5%, in 1999 - 64.4%). Of the 139 active able-bodied residents, 131 people worked (73 men and 58 women), 8 were unemployed (5 men and 3 women). Among 50 able-bodied inactive citizens, 11 were pupils or students , 22 - pensioners , and another 17 - were inactive due to other reasons [9] [10] .
