Middle Balakleyka is a river in Ukraine , within the Shevchenkovsky , Chuguevsky and Balakleysky districts of the Kharkiv region . The left tributary of the Balakleika ( Seversky Donets basin).

Description
The river is 40 km long [1] , the basin area is 345 km² [1] . The valley is predominantly trapezoidal; 1.5 to 4 km wide, 20-50 m deep. The floodplain is bilateral, sometimes boggy, 50 to 700 m wide. The channel is moderately meandering, up to 30-50 m wide (in the lower reaches), up to 2 m deep. rivers 0.98 m / km. [1] Creeps in the summer. In the upper reaches of several ponds.
Location
The river originates east of the village of Aleksandrovka . It flows first to the west, then - mainly to the southwest. It flows into Balakleika between the village of Verbovka and the city of Balakleya .
