Biography
Since 1775 [3] he was a sergeant in the service, on 12/25/1783 promoted to ensigns . From 08/24/1784 he served at the headquarters of A. A. Peutling , from 1.8.1785 - as an auditor at the headquarters of O. A. Ighelstrom [2] . In 1786 it was produced in seconds-majors , in 1790 - in prime-majors [2] [3] . From 1788 he served in the 4th Orenburg Musketeers Battalion, from 24.2.1793 - in the Voronezh Hussars. In August 1793 promoted to lieutenant colonel; October 30, 1794 retired with the rank of colonel [2] .
He served as head of the state department of the Lithuanian Supreme Government, from April to December 1796 - Vilna Vice-Governor [1] , then as a post director (24.4.1797 - 12.19.1798) [2] [3] [1] .
For three years he was a civil governor of the Lithuanian province (1799–1801) [1] , after which he retired [2] .
In 1806–1809 - civil governor of the Orenburg province [1] [4] . He retired due to mental illness [2] .
