Taxon is a bi-monthly peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to plant classification . The magazine is published by Wiley on behalf of the International Plant Classification Association , of which it is the official journal. The magazine was created in 1952 and is the only place where you can publish updates to the nomenclature and proposals for amendments to the International Code for the Nomenclature of Algae, Mushrooms and Plants (with the exception of the rules for mushrooms ).
