Afanasy Petrovich Trishkin (born June 4, 1934 , the village of Pesochnoe , Kaluga Region, USSR) is a Soviet and Russian film and theater actor. Honored Artist of Russia (2003) [1] .

Biography

Afanasy Trishkin was born on June 4, 1934 in the Kaluga region. In 1959 he graduated from Bryansk State Technical University . Having worked for a short time in his specialty, since 1964 he began an artistic career in the Krasnoyarsk Drama Theater . In 1973 he was invited to a small role in the film by the actor and director Igor Vasiliev, “ Engineer Pronchatov .” Friendship began between the colleagues and Vasiliev invited Afanasy Trishkin to participate in the play "Chinzano" by the novice poet and playwright Lyudmila Petrushevskaya . The writer later recalled [2] :

 I read Chinzano to Igor Vasiliev and his friends Athanasius Trishkin and Emil Levin. The case took place in Igor’s room, in a communal apartment on 27 Chekhov Street. They listened and said later: “Nothing is clear.” <...> then, a month later, Igor began to ask her. “You didn’t understand anything.” “Yes, but we must read it again.” Read it. 

The performance began to rehearse at the Sovremennik Theater, using a period of certain administrative and creative confusion, semi-legally, consisting of: Oleg Dal , Valentin Nikulin , Afanasy Trishkin. However, soon the rehearsals were stopped by order of the director of the theater [2] . Having not found work in Moscow, Afanasy Trishkin moves to Chisinau , where he works in the theater-studio of the film actor at the Moldova-Film studio. Filmed in dozens of paintings by this and other studios, mainly in adventure films: the “authoritative” thief nicknamed “Professor” in “ Dangerous Friends ” (1979), the captain of the White Guard counterintelligence in the film “ Broken Skies ” (1979), Lieutenant Kovel in “ Who will pay for luck?” "(1980). A great creative success was the role of actor Ivan Ivanovich Daganovsky in Joseph Kheifits 's painting “The Wandering Bus ” (1989).

In 2003, he received the honorary title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation .

In recent years, he has served in the Theater "Near the House of Stanislavsky" [3] . He took part in the play “Yesterday came suddenly. Winnie the Pooh, or Farewell, The Beatles - a sharp social drama, where he played the role of the aged Christopher Robin [4] [5] .
