Biography
He started wrestling in high school with his twin brother. At this time, they both won the state championship among students in schools, but only one of the brothers went further, Ross.
During his studies at the University of Oklahoma in 1933-1935, he three times became the champion of the country according to the NCAA in the weight category up to 126 pounds [2] [3] [4] , and in 1935 and 1936 the champion of the country according to AAU . In 1937 he won the competition at the Pan American Exposition in Dallas. He was selected to participate in the Olympic Games, where he won a silver medal in bantamweight.

After the Olympic Games, he trained for several years at Stillwater High School, during the war he served as a sports instructor for the U.S. Navy for 5 years, and since 1946 he was a trainer for the team of the University of Oklahoma. Later he took up the livestock business, was the owner of an auction for the sale of cattle.
Died in 1995, buried in the Fairlon cemetery in Oklahoma. He was married, had two daughters and a son from marriage. [five]
