Evgeny Alekseevich Stroev ( February 5, 1942 , Kuibyshev , USSR - September 13, 1999 , Moscow , Russia ) - Soviet and Russian biophysicist , doctor of medical sciences, professor (1976), academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences (1991), since 1987 rector of Ryazan State Medical University . He was elected a member of the Supreme Council of the Russian Federation and a deputy of the Council of the Federation of Russia , in the latter he headed a committee on science, culture and education (1994-1996).

Biography
He graduated from the Ryazan Medical Institute (1966). In alma mater (university since 1993) he also studied in graduate school and then went the way to the head of the department of biochemistry and the rector.
With the creation in 1994 of the Ryazan Regional Scientific and Technical Apitherapy Society, he was elected its chairman [1] [2] .
Member of the Supreme Council of the Russian Federation, member of the Council of the Republic of the Supreme Council of the Russian Federation, member of the Committee on Health, Social Security and Physical Culture and the Committee on International Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations (1990-1993). Member of the Council of the Federation of the Russian Federation of the first convocation , Chairman of the Committee of the Council of the Federation on Science, Culture and Education (1994-1996).
Died of stomach cancer. He was buried at the Troekurovsky cemetery in Moscow, section 4b.
He was awarded the Order of Honor (1996). Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation (1991).
He dealt with hormonal regulation of enzyme systems in normal and pathological conditions.
The author of more than 200 works, 8 monographs and textbooks.
