Biography
In 1977 he graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations with a degree in Soviet-Indian relations. He studied Bengali and English. In 1977 he began working in the diplomatic field. He held various positions in the central office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the USSR and the Russian Federation, as well as abroad. Fluent in English, Italian, Spanish and Russian.
In 1997-2002, he was Consul Advisor to the Consulate General of Russia in San Francisco.
In 2003-2005 - Head of the Department of the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Department).
In 2005-2009 - Consul General of Russia in Genoa.
In 2010-2015, he was Deputy Director of the Personnel Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
Since June 25, 2015 - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Paraguay [1] .
