Description
Small, slow ants living in rotten wood and fallen leaves. Perfectly camouflaged in the soil, because for a long time they were considered extremely rare. Very similar to the ants of the genus Eurhopalothrix , which are predators and prey on small soft-bodied arthropods. [2]
