Welsh Regional Court

The Welsh Regional Court is a regional court and considers criminal and civil cases from six currently existing district courts of Upper Austria within the jurisdiction of this court ( Bad Ischl , Wels , Gmunden , Grieskirchen , Vöcklabruck , Eferding ) ^{[ 3]} . It also considers civil legal relations (with rare exceptions) with dispute amounts of more than 15,000 euros. In addition, the Welsh Regional Court considers appeals against rulings of the Upper Austria district courts in the territorial jurisdiction of the court, as well as examines cases under Austrian labor and social laws in this part of the Upper Austria federal state, regardless of the amount of the dispute. Maintaining a register of all companies established in Upper Austria that are in the territorial jurisdiction of this court is also the prerogative of the Wels Land Court ^[4] .

The territorial jurisdiction of the Welsh Land Court covers the central-southern part of the federal state of Upper Austria and extends to the state of Welshstadt , as well as its five political districts: Wels , Gmunden , Griskirchen , Vöcklabruck and Eferding . The superior court for him is the High Land Court of Linz .

The Welsh Regional Court is currently housed in a building on 12 Maria Theresa Strasse.

On the ground floor there are: a service center, cash desk, bankruptcy and commercial registration departments, labor and social affairs departments, a buffet. On the right side of the basement: service center (Zi 3, 4), cash desk (Zi 5), bankruptcy department (Business Department Zi 6). At the entrance to the court is an office (Zi 8) and the Commercial Register Department (Zi office 11). An elevator is located next to the service center and buffet. It is located at the back of the courthouse, next to office building No. 20 and a copy center (Zi 21, open from 08:00 to 12:00). On the left side you will find the labor and social court departments (Zi 38 office) and their courtrooms 33, 34, 35.

Ground floor: Chancellery, civilian departments, civil and family law appeal departments, video conference room and library. Opposite the stairs is the courtroom 101 (resolving issues in criminal matters and bankruptcy). On the left side you will find a video conference room (number 104), which holds hearings on labor and social laws, as well as an office (registration at Zi 107 office), and courtrooms 117, 118. There are halls in the back of the building court hearings 123 and 125. To the right of the stairs you can find the Office of Appeals (Zi 137) and Civil Affairs (Zi 139).

Second floor: criminal departments, premises for detainees and offices for legal issues, board of appeals for criminal cases, prosecutor. Opposite the stairs is courtroom 201. On the back you can find the judicial offices 224, 232 and 234, the juvenile interrogation office (number 223) and the detention facilities, legal and criminal affairs offices (Zi 233). Office of Criminal Affairs in the offices of Zi 239-241.

For visitors on guardianship issues: the issuance of certificates to visitors takes place at the Service Center (basement). Please note that jurisdiction arises only with a conviction.

Sanitary equipment for people with reduced mobility:

• in the basement to the left of the main entrance, opposite the Zi 44 office building, there is also a changing table for babies.
• on the first and second floors in the northwestern part of the building (from the stairs to the right, and then again to the right until the end of the transition, on the left side) ^[5] .
