“Adventure of a Lifetime” is a song by the British rock band Coldplay , released on November 6, 2015 as the first single from their seventh studio album A Head Full of Dreams [6] [7] .

History

The song received positive reviews from music critics and online publications: The Upcoming [5] , Idolator [8] . Rolling Stone magazine included the song “Adventure of a Lifetime” in its List of the Top 50 Songs of 2015 (50 best songs of 2015) at position No. 41 [9] .

Music video

The clip is a computerized image of a dancing chimpanzee. The official music video was directed by Mat Whitecross, who has worked with the band for many years. The clip was released on November 27, 2015. The concept and plot were developed by the group's frontman Chris Martin and British film expert, film director and actor Andy Serkis . It took 6 months to create the video [10] .

According to The Guardian , the video was shot at The Imaginarium Studios , which had previously created the new action series Rise of the Planet of the Apes and parts of the films Avengers: Age of Ultron and Star Wars: The Force Awakens [11] [12] .

In Culture

On December 29, 2015, the song became available in the new part of the music video game from the Rock Band : Rock Band 4 series [13] .
