Baron Broadbridge from Brighton in Sussex is an ancestral title in the United Kingdom Peer system . It was created on September 14, 1945 for the conservative politician, Sir George Broadbridge, 1st Baronet (1869-1952). On November 22, 1937, the title of Baronet from Worgrev Place in Sussex County was already created for him. Previously, George Broadbridge met in the House of Commons of Great Britain from London (1938-1945). The title passed from father to son until the death in 2000 of Peter Hewitt Broadbridge, 3rd Baron Broadbridge (1938-2000). He was succeeded by his cousin, Martin Hugh Broadbridge, 4th Baron Broadbridge (born 1929 ), son of the Hon. Hugh Trevor Broadbridge, third son of 1st Baron Broadbridge.
