Career

Engaged in biathlon since 2007, trains in the club Fossum IF. Personal trainer - Hans-Anton Bjørndalen, team coach - Roger Grubben .

Junior career

She made her debut at major competitions in 2015 at the World Junior Championships in Raubichi . Speaking in the category up to 19 years old, the athlete won 4 medals - silver in the individual race, bronze in the sprint and gold in the pursuit, as well as bronze in the women's relay.

At the next tournament , in 2016 in Keila- Grandishte, Tandrevold competed among athletes under 21. In personal views, she was left without medals, taking 6th place in the individual race, 9 - in the sprint and 5 - in the pursuit. In the relay the Norwegian team consisting of Anne-Marit Bredalen, Toure Tureshen and Ingrid Tandrevold won the gold medal.

In March 2015, at the age of 19, she won the individual race at the Norwegian Championship, ahead of several athletes from the country's first national team, including Martha Olsbu, Alice Ringen, and Fanny Hurn [1] .

The first international competition at the level of adults for Tandrevold was the European Championship 2016 , before the start of this tournament, the athlete did not take part even in the IBU Cup races . In the single mixte, Ingrid, along with Vetle Christiansen, won bronze, then in her first personal race, the sprint, became the 15th. In the pursuit, the Norwegian managed to climb to third place, ahead of the Russian Anastasia Zagoruiko at the very finish.

After the European Championship in Tyumen, she got into the reserve of the national team of Norway for the World Biathlon Championship in Oslo.

Debut in the World Cup: March 17-18, 2016 (sprint - 29th place; pursuit race - 37th place).

In March 2016, at the age of 19, she took second place in the sprint at the Norwegian Championship, ahead of several athletes from the main team.

On January 20, 2019, losing to Francis Preus in a bitter struggle on the German Ruhpolding track, for the first time in her career, she rose to the podium at the World Cup stage, winning second place in the mass start.
