Ivar Jazepovich Seletskis ( Latvian. Ivars Seleckis ; born September 22, 1934 , Riga , Latvia ) is a Latvian documentary filmmaker and cameraman. Member of the CPSU since 1964.

Biography
In 1957 he graduated from the Latvian Agricultural University , and in 1966 - the Faculty of Cameraman of VGIK . Since 1958, is in the state of the Riga Film Studio .
Brother Andris Seletskis is also a cameraman.

Cooperation with the KGB
On December 20, 2018, the National Archives of Latvia published a part of the previously classified documents of the KGB of the Latvian SSR . Among the KGB agents is the cinematographer of the Riga Film Studio Seletskis Ivar Yazepovich, recruited on March 6, 1970 by an employee of the 1st Division (intelligence). The operative pseudonym of the cinematographer was “Silays” [1] . At the time of publication, the recruitment circumstances and the degree of real cooperation with the special service were not disclosed in the archive documents.
