Biography
In 1960 he graduated from the Faculty of Mechanization of the Orenburg Agricultural Institute .
In the Soviet years, he worked in the Komsomol, party and administrative posts of the Orenburg region: since 1963 - Deputy Secretary of the Orsk rural production committee of the Komsomol, then worked as head of the department of Komsomol organizations, second and first secretary of the Orenburg Regional Committee of the Komsomol ; since 1974 - First Secretary of the Orenburg District Committee of the CPSU ; since 1980 - head of the agricultural department of the Orenburg Regional Committee of the CPSU; in 1984 he was appointed General Director of the NGO South Ural; 1985-1990 - First Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Orenburg Regional Council.
Since 1990 - head of the Main Planning and Economic Department of the Orenburg Region, since 1992 - head of the Orenburg Regional Department (then - the department) of agriculture.
In 1994-1998 - Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Orenburg Region of the 1st convocation.
In 1999-2001 - Director of the All-Russian Institute of Beef Cattle Breeding (VNIIMS, Orenburg).
From 2000 to 2001 - First Deputy Head of Administration (Governor) of the Orenburg Region; combined positions of the first vice-governor and director of VNIIMS (at the institute did not receive a salary).
From December 2001 to April 2004, he was a member of the Council of the Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation from the administration, the executive body of state power of the Orenburg Region.
In 2006-2011. - Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Orenburg Region of the 4th convocation according to the list of the Agrarian Party of Russia , chairman of the credentials committee, deputy chairman of the committee of the Legislative Assembly of the region on education, science, culture and sport.
