The first shoots of rock music in Rostov-on-Don appeared in the 1960s with the emergence of such groups as “Blue Shadows”, “Losers”, “Morning Dew” and others [1] . On May 9, 1969, through the efforts of the Morning Dew group at one of the numerous recreation centers on Levberdone , a Woodstock-on-Don festival was held, in which four Rostov teams took part: Morning Dew, Little Boy and Brothers, Korda "And" Losers " [1] .

The history of the Rostov rock club

The first attempt at the official creation of a Rostov rock club can be considered a meeting in January 1986 of activists of the local rock movement and city administration officials [2] . This meeting ended with the election of the leader of the group “ Day and Evening ” Valery Posidelov as the chairman of the rock club and the drawing up of a protocol [2] . Posidelov almost immediately resigned from the chair of a rock club, preferring creative work to administrative work [2] [3] . And while remaining one of the most active and active participants in the local rock movement [2] .

Posidelov was replaced by Elena Artikulnaya [4] , then the rock club was headed by Peter "Pit" Moskvichev [3] .

A powerful underground impulse of the rock club and rock movement of Rostov-on-Don was given by Miroslav Nemirov ( 1961 - 2016 ), one of the organizers of the so-called Siberian punk and associate of the Art or Death art group [5] .
