Participated in regional and republican aitys . The most famous aitys are with Satom Esenbaev and Maytash Smagulova. Dastany Akhmetbekov- “Esim serі” (1929), “Karғa” (1938) about real events in the Turgai steppe . The heroic life of the national hero Amangeldy Imanov , who led the liberation uprising in Thurgai (1916) - the courage and courage of the Kazakh batyr was sung in the Amangeldy dastan. Akhmetbekov was awarded the State Prize of Kazakhstan (1951) for the Zhasauyl Kyrgyny dastan.
