Jackeylin Almonik Carr ( born Jekalyn Almonique Carr ; born April 22, 1997) is an American singer, musician in the genre of modern urban gospel , an evangelist and entrepreneur from West Memphis , Arkansas . She began her musical career in 2011 independently releasing the album Promise . The first single, “Greater Is Coming”, was released in 2012 and entered the debut official album of the singer Greater Is Coming , released in 2013 by the Lunjeal Music Group, a sublabel of Malaco Records . The album was a breakthrough in many charts such as the Billboard 200 , Gospel Albums and Independent Albums charts . In 2014, the album It's Gonna Happen was released, which also took place on the Lunjeal Music Group. The disc managed to get into the top positions of the Gospel Albums chart.

Early life
Born in April 1997 in Arkansas [1] under the name Jackeylin Almonik Carr [2] , in the family of Allen Lindsay [3] and Jennifer Denis Carr [4] . Has a brother Allen Lindsay Carr Jr. and a sister Allundria [5] [6] . Lives in West Memphis [7] .
Musical career
The singer’s musical career began in 2011, at the age of 14, with the release on the independent label of the album Promise . In 2012, the debut single of the singer "Greater Is Coming" [8] [9] was released on the Malaco Records and Lunjeal Music Group labels. The single was later featured on Greater Is Coming's official debut studio album , released May 21, 2013. [8] The album managed to occupy successful positions on the Billboard charts : The Billboard 200 at 183 positions, Gospel Albums at third and Independent Albums at 31 lines [9] . The next album by the singer It's Gonna Happen was released on October 7, 2014 via the label Lunjeal Music Group [8] . The release managed to reach 9th place in the Gospel Albums chart [9] .
