Division Formation

The 260th Mixed Aviation Division was formed by the reorganization on March 1, 1943 from the 260th Bomber Aviation Division as part of the 7th Air Army of the Karelian Front .

Reorganization of the Division

On November 14, 1944, the 260th Mixed Aviation Svir Order of the Suvorov Division was reorganized into the 260th Assault Aviation Svir Order of the Suvorov Division as part of the 7th Air Army of the Karelian Front .
