Youth
Daniel was born in Russia in the city of Kirovsk in the Murmansk Region on January 25, 1989 . His mother, Valentina Horvat, hails from Hungary, and his father, Andrei Panchenko, is from Russia.
He graduated from the 8th grade of a school in Russia, where he lived until the age of 14, after which he moved to the Russian boarding school in Malta (RBSM) to receive a full secondary education. During his stay in Malta, he developed acting skills, taking part in school plays. At the age of 17, he moved to live in Barcelona (Spain), where he entered the ESEI international business school. He also received a bachelor's degree in business, administration, and economics from Staffordshire University in the UK .
Career
Daniel studied acting at the Academy of Dramatic Art of Nanki Tunion and Jordi Olivier in Barcelona. In 2014, he also took acting classes in Los Angeles (USA) and began working with Larry Moss.
From the age of 19 he participated in the transfer of Toma cero ya Jugar on the Spanish television channel "Telecinco" with David Muro, after which he starred in the series Aida as the Swedish youth Henrik. [1] [2]
In 2010, Daniel starred in the role of the Russian hero Dmitry in the TV series "La Riera" on the RTV channel of Catalonia. [3] The manager of the actor in Madrid, Ramon Pilases, brought Daniel in 2014 to the big screen in the full-length film “Kamikaze” by Alex Pina and later on in the project “Lazarus” by Mateo Gil .
Daniel Horvath was invited to the Cannes Film Festival in 2015 as the main actor of the short film "Washakie y el chico de las manos mojadas" directed by Eric Monteagudo and Orio Penalversa. [4] [5]
In 2015, Daniel joined the FILMETS Badalona Film Festival International Jury, along with Isona Passola, President of l'Acadèmia del Cinema Català. [6]
In 2016, the actor participates in the TV series Antena 3's "Finding the North" [7] [8] and in the feature film "Amaranth" directed by Mark Shawnmaker. [9]
