History of Creation and Translation
Translated in the same century from a Polish edition called Klucz Prognostykarski, To iest Rzetelne Obiaśnienie Słow y przezwisk nie wyrozumianych, ktorych Furman y inśi Astrologowie w Kalendarzach y Prognostykach swoich zażywziąsta pogo, princeyast, Paoje, pogo, pristine, The Polish original did not contain illustrations [2] . Distributed in lists and front lists with illustrations of the signs of the zodiac , which in the spirit of baroque allegories are compared to the countries of the world [3] . The pre-revolutionary publication described the beginning of the text as follows: “Origin: Under the Aries. German land, France, England, Lesser Poland, High Burgundy, Swabian land ” [4] .
The translation of the work is known in Cosmography with additions and manuscripts of geographical collections. In addition to the additions to the Chronograph of 1696 (lost), the following translation lists are known:
