Jose Julian Anchico Patinho ( born José Yulián Anchico Patiño ; born May 28, 1984 , Cucuta , Colombia ) is a Colombian footballer , midfielder of the Independiente Medellin club and the Colombian national team .

Content

Club career

Anchiko began his professional career at the Deportes Tolima Club. In 2003, he made his debut for the team in the Mustang Cup . In his debut season, Julian helped Tolima win the championship for the first time in its history. In 2008, he moved to Santa Fe , where he immediately won a place in the first team. On July 20, in the match against Atletico Nacional , Anchico scored his first goal for a new team [1] . In 2009, he helped Santa Fe win the Colombia Cup . In early 2011, Julian on a rental basis moved to the Mexican Pachuca . January 9, in a match against the metropolitan “ America ”, he made his debut in the Mexican Example [2] . In the same match, Julian scored his first goal for Pachuca.

After the lease ended, Anchiko returned to Santa Fe and helped the team win the championship twice and win the South American Cup . Julian is one of the club's record holders in the number of matches played.

International Career

On May 31, 2005, in a friendly match against England, Anchiko made his debut for the Colombian national team , replacing John Viafaru in the second half [3] . In the same year, he took part in the CONCACAF Gold Cup . At the tournament, Julian played in matches against the national teams of Trinidad and Tobago [4] , Mexico [5] and twice Panama [6] [7] .

On May 9, 2007, in a duel against the Panama national team, Anchiko scored his first goal for the national team . In 2011, Julian took part in the America's Cup in Argentina . At the tournament he was a substitute and did not enter the field.
