Podkopaev Yuri Alexandrovich (born January 5, 1972 , Lipetsk , RSFSR , USSR ) is a Russian television journalist who hosts news programs on the ZVEZDA TV channel [1] .

Biography
Born in Lipetsk. In 1987 he entered the Moscow Suvorov Military School . Upon graduation, he continued his military education at the Lviv Higher Military-Political School at the Department of Journalism. In 1992 he was transferred to Moscow, to the Humanitarian Academy of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (Military University).
Work
1993 - received distribution in the Tula Airborne Division. Correspondent of the newspaper " For Homeland ".
March 1995 - as part of the combined regiment of the division participated in the counter-terrorist operation in the North Caucasus. Early rank of senior lieutenant.
December 1995 - correspondent, special correspondent of the State Television and Radio Company “Lipetsk” .
1998 - chief editor of the News program of the STV-7 television channel in Lipetsk. The host of the weekly summary informational program Epicenter of the STV-7 channel in Lipetsk.
2007—2016 - ZVEZDA TV channel: presenter special correspondent for the channel’s information service.
