(8355) Masuo ( Latin Masuo ) - an asteroid belonging to the group of asteroids that intersect the orbit of Mars . It was discovered on September 5, 1989 by the American astronomer Eleanor Helin at the Palomar Observatory and named after the Japanese astronomer Masuo Tanaka.
