Geography
The village of Ugolki is located in the north of the Moscow region, in the southwestern part of the Sergiev Posad district, about 41 km north of the Moscow ring road and 17 km west of the railway station Sergiev Posad [8] .
11 km southeast of the village is the Yaroslavl highway M8 , 11.5 km to the south - the Moscow small ring A107 , 19 km to the north-east - the Moscow big ring A108 , 22 km to the west - Dmitrov highway A104 . 5 km to the north of the village are the routes of the Big Ring of the Moscow Railway , 6 km to the east are the routes of the Yaroslavl direction of the Moscow Railway .
The nearest settlements are the villages of Akhtyrka , Zhuchki and Teshilovo .
History
In the “List of Populated Places” of 1862 - the owner’s village of the 1st camp of Dmitrovsky district of the Moscow province on the left side of the Dmitrovsky tract (from Sergievsky Posad to Dmitrov ), 23 versts from the county town and 17 versts from the flat, at ponds, from 45 courtyards and 222 residents (114 men, 108 women) [2] .
According to the data for 1890 - the village of Mitinsky volost of the 1st camp of Dmitrovsky district with 235 inhabitants [3] .
In 1913 - 43 yards [9] .
According to the materials of the 1926 All-Union Census - the village of Teshilovsky village council of the Khotkovsky volost of the Sergievsky district of the Moscow province 11.7 km from the Yaroslavl highway and 8.5 km from the Khotkovo station of the Northern railway, 266 residents lived (125 men, 141 women), there were 46 households (44 peasant) [5] .
