Crash DHC-6 in Nepal - a plane crash of a passenger aircraft De Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter airline Tara Air , which occurred on Wednesday February 24, 2016 near the village of Dana ( Myagdi district , Nepal ). The plane crashed while performing an internal flight from Pokhara to Jomsom and went missing with 23 people on board [2] [3] [4] . The aircraft was found near Dana, all those on board died [5] .

Passengers
In total, there were 20 passengers and 3 crew members on board the aircraft . Twenty-one people were Nepal citizenship, one was a Hong Kong citizen, and another was Kuwait. [6] On board were two children [7] .

Crash
The plane took off from Pokhara at 7:50 a.m. local time. The flight duration was only 18 minutes. DHC-6 disappeared from Pokhara's radars 10 minutes after takeoff [6] , and was found at 13:25 by a police team [7] .
Exploration work
Immediately after the disaster, several helicopters were lifted into the air, but rescue operations were complicated by weather conditions. The wreckage of the aircraft was found on the side of a mountain [8] . Bishwa District Police Chief Raj Khadka [9] stated that 17 bodies were found at the crash site [10] .
The rescue operation was attended by the host and the operator of the Inside Out program, Dmitry Komarov and Alexander Dmitriev. They helped the military and the police during the search for the black box in exchange for the evacuation of Alexander Dmitriev, who damaged the knee ligament, and it was problematic and painful to go down. As a result, the military flew away without taking Alexander. But fortunately, with the help of Dmitry, he was able to get to the city where he was evacuated. [eleven]
Investigation
At the moment, a group is being formed to find out the causes of the disaster [12] . Minister of Aviation Aananda Prasad Pohrel stated that the wreckage of the crashed aircraft was scattered over an area of about 200 m² [13] [14] .
